"God Blocked The Bullet"

"God Blocked The Bullet," says Superintendent Husfelt of the Bay City Schools District in Florida. Shots were fired in the school board meeting on December 15th by Clay A. Duke. No one was hurt, but a secruity guard exchanged fire with the man and wounded him but in the end the man killed his self with a gunshot to the head. Husfelt said that he was sure he was going to be shot but he was sure God saved him. There is a video on the webiste.. for more on the story visit http://www.aolnews.com/2010/12/15/staring-at-death-god-blocked-the-bullet-fla-school-official/

Personally... I don't understand why people feel the need to go and shoot people, or even bring a gun to threaten a person. It makes NO sense. People these days just need some help. Who is crazy enough to do that?! Jeez. Sometimes I wonder about the sanity in the world today. Everyone seems to be going crazy. Even I seem to be going crazy*.. let me tell you! But, no.. seriously. whats up with all these crazy people going around trying to shoot people but then killing themselves?.. is life realllllyyyy that bad? I sure hope not!

John Lennon

December 8, 1980

Shots were fired on West 72nd Street in New York City. John Lennon was killed on his front door step and the Legend of The Beatles died with the rest of the world. Many people say that his death marks a day of mourning for a whole generation because at that time the cultural icon of everyone's lives was gone. Killed at his own house.

It happened 30 years ago but many reporters still remember that day very well and they don't remember it as just another celebrity going to heaven, they remember it as the end of the world.
The Beatles at that time were litterally the most famous band for that generation. Everyone knew who they were and alot of people worshiped the ground they walked on. Lennon being the front man of the group was more well known and his death ultimately caused the break up of the group.

Let us all have a moment of silence for this Rock hero*... he is very well missed

A woman slashes DiCaprio's face? whaaaaaatt?

Aretha Wilson... no one really knows her..but we do now..
She was tried and convicted of slashing Leonardo DiCaprio's face with a large piece of glass 5 years ago at a house party that both had apparently been attending. Tried in Los Angeles she was sentenced to 2 years in State Prison. Because of the attack 5 years ago Leonardo had to have surgery and he did not attend the hearing. The woman fleed from the country to Canada and returned to Los Angeles where she has been held in jail since July. Because of all her credits, Wilson's trial was put on hold, and it is said that she will only serve 6 months in prison after all of them are put in and she may be deported to Canada when her time here is up.

woww.. you would never think this would happen would you? What has this world come to? People are pretty darn crazy these days I guess. It makes me wonder how many people would really do something like this vs. people who are chill and don't really care. Gosshhh makes me scared to go out in the world now*

Gas Prices Are Rising...

How many of you have noticed gas prices rising?
I have and now it's being said they will be up to $3.00 a gallon and more in the spring?
wowww not much to really say to that.. but... WHY IS AMERICA SO DUMB!!
WE HAVE OUR OWN OIL. okay so enough yelling about it... but geez.
Part of the reason prices have gone up is because in China they are trying to meet air quality commitments that they had made earlier this year.. and in order to do so they have to cut back on electricity which causes them to need more disel fuel to power their homes/ cars/ etc... so they are demanding alot of the oil the the USA usually buys.... not only that but the stock in the Oil industry is going down.. But it has risen in Gold so I would recommend going there...

IM BAAAACCCKKK! (:

Heyyy there fellow bloggers..
I guess you can see it has been a while since I've been on here.
Well its a new term at school and its time that I change things up a little bit.
This term I'm going to try to keep up on Current events in the news and blog about them.
I think that my subject wasn't as easy as I thought it would be and I should probably start moving in a different direction.

First thing first, I want to give one of my bestfriends Felicia a shoutout because today is her birthday... so, HAPPY BIRTHDAY FELICIA!!!! :) okay so now that that is settled, I'm going to continue to ramble for a second.

Alot has happend over the last month since I've blogged. Classes have changed and people and alot of other things. We've hit Halloween and Thanksgiving too so there are a couple of big/fun holidays I missed a chance to write about. So right now I'll just take some time to tell you all about them.

Halloween- the weekend of Halloween was pretty fun, I went with a bestfriend of mine to a Halloween Party. I didn't really have a costume but people there let me borrow some bunny ears and so everything turned out great. I even got to spend time with my favorite cousin. Holloween day I worked but that night I got to go trick-or-treating with my friend (yes i know.. im 17 why am i trick-or-treating right?!) and it was pretty dang fun. My highlight was going to another friends house because they were giving out doritos and capri sun and my friend Maida pretended to be a disabled kid (which to must of you might not be very funny but you have to know her to understand that she's a very very extremly quiet girl and for her to do this... well you understand). My night was complete and we went home with 2 buckets full of candy :)

Thanksgiving- BEST TURKEY DAY EVER!!!! Since I just moved in with my dad back in May, I always spent Thanksgiving with my mother so this was my first since my dad and step-mom got married. Now, it's no Christmas Eve dinner but it sure was GOOOOOD. I loved it.. Greenbean Caserol, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn, 2 turkeys (thats right... two), and alot of pie! (I mean... alot of pie.. like 10) My aunt and uncle came up from their town and my sister and her kids came. It was great.. event he good ol' Thanksgiving football game.. which had a lovely fight in it ( that was the highlight of my night.. jus sayin) and then my brother and I went with my cousin to see the movie "Due Date"... i recommend it.. by far one of the funniest movies I've ever seen.. It's no family movie.. but it has a good story line and it's funny... really... really... funny (:

More posts will be up soon.. but leave some comments.. they are welcomed here (
